Borzoi
The Borzoi, or Russian Wolfhound, is a noble hound known for its strength, agility, and elegant appearance. With a long, slender body and expressive eyes, they enjoy walks or runs and need moderate grooming. Easy to train, Borzois were favored by Russian aristocracy for their hunting skills. Developed by crossing the Arabian Greyhound with thick-coated Russian breeds, their standard has been unchanged since 1650. Despite near extinction after the Russian Revolution, Borzois were recognized in America in 1891.
